The waves

What a curious act we humans partake in at sea. Here we are upstanding, acquiescent in our anticipation for a flurried and foaming salty beating. Reclaiming our dignity in the champagne aftermath as we scramble for measly scraps of cloth, repositioning them virtuously before the procedure again begins. Such a joyous breed of flagellation, restoring the sane and sound mind through this relentless wearing down of the physical, leaving the soul lustrated in the soupy backwash of the earth.
